Results of trademark section 2009

On 21st of October 2009 the list for contracting parties of Madrid agreement and the Madrid protocol has been updated.
The Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks (hereinafter "Singapore Treaty") came into force with respect to the Russian Federation on December 18, 2009.

The Singapore Treaty creates a modern and dynamic international framework for the harmonization of administrative trademark registration procedures. Building on the TLT 1994, the Singapore Treaty has a wider scope of application and addresses new developments in the field of communication technology.
